ARCHImparo is a structured catalog of educational offerings, containing proposals for differentiated, free educational pathways and workshops, specially designed for students in primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools, in accordance with curricular objectives and the development of key European competencies.

For a teacher, planning a visit to the State Archive of Milan represents an opportunity to introduce students to primary historical sources, expanding their historical knowledge and shaping their critical awareness. Indeed, the Archive serves as a unique research and laboratory space where one can reflect on the past, perceive the present, and cultivate a vision for the future.

Call for applications for upper secondary schools (2026/2027 school year) 

We are pleased to announce that the State Archive of Milan is launching "Inchiostro Rosso" (Red Ink), the project-competition dedicated to upper secondary schools in Milan and the Metropolitan City for the 2026/2027 school year.

The initiative stems from a historical source preserved in the Institute—judicial records relating to a femicide case that occurred at the beginning of the twentieth century—to promote a critical, conscious, and contemporary reflection on the phenomenon of violence against women.
