Users can purchase:
- digital copies of images contained in the Institution’s databases, accessible on the page Online digital reproductions.
- digital reproductions made on request in the reproduction section of the Institution, subject to the exact indication of their shelfmark.
- reproductions made in the dedicated room made available by the Institution.

Instructions
Users may request quotes both for documents already reproduced and for digital reproductions made on request by sending an email to:
Requests must include the correct shelfmark of the documents to be reproduced: name of archive, name of series if applicable, folder, register or bound file number, document number, document date, and type of reproduction required.
The Image reproduction service will send the user practical instructions and the quote based on the current price list.
Distribution/publication of reproductions
Only in the case of reproductions purchased via the Institution’s image reproduction sector or made in the dedicated room provided by the Institution may the user request to use reproductions not for personal use but for profit-making or commercial purposes, i.e. for all uses other than those established by art. 9 of the Study Room Rules, paying a fee to the Institution. In the case of reproductions for profit-making purposes, requests must be made by filling out the specific form, indicating all parameters required to calculate the fee (Form).
Payment
From 12 July 2021, payments to the State Archive of Milan must be made via the PagoPA portal, which can be accessed via the following link:

After registering, it will be possible to access the “Acquista servizio” (“Purchase service”) section.
N.B.: the “Dettaglio causale” (“Description”) field should include the reference number of the quote received, without which it will not be possible to link the payment with the request.
After checking the payment, the Image reproduction service staff will send the requested images.
