Transparent Administration

The principle of transparency, understood as “total accessibility” to information regarding the organisation and activities of public entities, was established with Legislative Decree no. 33 of 14 March 2013, Revision of the law on the obligations of public entities regarding the publication, transparency and dissemination of information.

The aim of the law is to give citizens widespread oversight on the activities of institutions and the use of public resources, guaranteeing suitable levels of transparency in the actions taken by public entities, promoting legality, combating all forms of corruption and facilitating performance assessments.

Pursuant to Circular Letter no. 30 of 7 Oct. 2015, the actions undertaken by the Minister in charge of the prevention of corruption, administrative transparency, controls and reporting are published.

Documents, data and information pursuant to the regulation in force are published on this page.

See the Transparency section of the Ministry of Culture website and in particular the pages: General provisions Procedures, the Three-year prevention of corruption and transparency plan and the Transparent Administration section of the Directorate-General for Archives
